Raymond Hardin

Raymond Hardin has been installing and repairing roofs in East Texas for over 40 years. He learned the trade working for other roofing companies, starting when he was just 17 years old. In 1995, he started Raymond Hardin Roofing to offer the highest quality roofing service in East Texas.

We install and repair shingle, metal, and torch-down rubber roofs, including tear-offs and re-decks. The estimate is written before the work starts. We pull the permits and stay with you while an insurance payment is pending.

Before we begin any tear-off work, we lay down tarps to control the mess and protect landscaping. During the roofing process, we use a rolling magnet daily to collect stray nails that might injure people or pets, and we replace all turbines, pipes, and stacks to give your entire roof a brand new look.

Raymond Hardin Roofing is licensed, bonded, insured, and is a BBB Accredited Business. We take care of all the necessary permits and work with you when you're waiting for insurance payments.

How to choose a roofer

Ask these before you let someone on the roof.

  1. 01

How much experience does the roofer have, and with which materials?

Raymond Hardin has been on East Texas roofs for more than 40 years, working with shingle, metal, and torch-down rubber.

  2. 02

Is the roofer licensed, bonded, and insured?

Raymond Hardin Roofing is licensed, bonded, insured, and a BBB Accredited business.

  3. 03

Can they show you finished work?

Ask to see roofs they have already done, and for customers you can call.

  4. 04

    What do other people say?

Read the Better Business Bureau listing and the reviews from people in East Texas.

  5. 05

Are they pushing you to sign after a storm?

Do not sign a contract or pay anyone who shows up at the door promising to fix the roof. Check who they are first.

  6. 06

Can they explain the materials and the warranty?

A roofer should be able to tell you the tradeoffs of the material, what the manufacturer warranty covers, and what they stand behind.

  7. 07

Is the lowest price the right one?

A cheap job from an inexperienced crew can cost more later. Hire the contractor whose work and reputation you trust.

Real customers. Real experiences.
